Daming Group went through a thorough restructure in 2008 with the aim to further improve on its original major industries, namely the oil-related industry, real estate industry, and social industry. It invested and acquired Shengli Oilfield Zhongsheng International Petroleum & Chemical Group. According to the strategic concept of "scientific diversified development", Daming Group entered into the area of the chemical industry and took its first step towards industrial restructuring. In 2011, it seized the historical opportunities in the municipal planning and designing of the Dongying Port Economic and Technological Development Area, and set up a 1,300-acre industrial park -- Daming Seaport Industrial Park in Dongying Port. It successively justified its investment in central heating system, fine chemical and Mingde chemical industries as well as projects to transform coal into hydrogen. Nowadays, it is becoming an important position for the Group to optimize the industrial layout and realize industrial upgrading. In 2017, with the increasing demand for environmental protection nationwide, the Group began to plan its entry into the environmental protection industry. It kicked off projects like the Industrial Solid Waste Disposal Center and the Soil and Groundwater Testing and Remediation in the Dongying Port. At the same time, with the calling for transferring the supplies of electricity, water, heating, and property management to the local governments, the Group established a thermos source company to take care of the heating business for the residents and the garrison in Xianhe village and Gudao village of Dongying. The Group also established a new energy company to take care of the heating operation in Dongying Hekou District, which extended its business scope of the thermal power industry. From the early stage of restructuring like “one body with two branches”, Daming Group has developed into a diversified enterprise with "six industries developing in a consorted manner". With the strategic mindset of “scientific diversification for sustainability and stability" which is gradually carried out, the Group has developed rapidly and healthily.
